Alzheimers Services of Cape Cod and the Islands - Alzheimers of Cape cod and the Islands was founded in 1981 and the organization's goal is to help people on Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard who are impacted with Alzheimer's Disease or related dementias. They are dedicated to provide support and education, information and referrals to local services, family support and respite grants for family caregivers.

American Heart Association - The American Heart Association was founded in 1924 by six cardiologists. At that time the goal was to improve public and medical awareness during a time of near unbelievable ignorance about heart diseasse. By the 1930's the organization researched ways to expand its activities to reach the general public. Today the American Heart Assocation is a National Agency whose mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease and stroke.

The color red and the red dress stand for the ability all women have to improve their heart health and live stronger, longer lives. Their near-term goal is a 25% reduction in coronary artery disease and stroke risk by 2010.
